‘…a unique, enthralling project that celebrates the power of collaboration, a shared love of traditional music and The Shee‘s ten years as a major force in folk music. The premiere of Continuum at Celtic Connections was an unforgettable event, the album that’s grown from it is simply outstanding.’

The Shee – Continuum

In January 2016, in order to mark their ten year anniversary, The Shee took to the stage in front of a sell-out audience to launch Continuum. This is an exciting new project. Six of their favourite folk musicians were asked to compose pieces for the band.

The pieces were written by Karine Polwart, Brian Finnegan, Chris Wood, Kathryn Tickell, Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting. They are then performed by The Shee. You will find that The Shee are currently touring the Continuum album, along with select pieces from their first three albums.
